there comes a time when time retards to a series of slow motion frames where the inaudible background metamorphosise into the foreground of one’s canvas…and then over in your ipod you hear ‘Have i told you lately…’ by Van Morrison…with all due respect to Rod Stewart and disrespect to MTV Unplugged, no other version could reach the purity and sincerity of the original…hence i stand here trying to reach the bottom of my sadness…PS-for the uninitiated anything by Van Morrison is excellent…
