ask any teacher, there are only two things that can demotivate them. the management and lesson plans.however, lesson plans can both excite teachers or send them to lull land. of course the management could excite the staff with words like ‘increase salary by twice the amount’ or ‘… you would get overtime pay…’. however, most of the time its usually mundane land.imagine that… i think everyone would want to claim that they have been working for 24hours 7 days a week which is usually true…in any case, listening to iron maiden while writing up a lesson plan has always be an activity of mine. i dont think it has ever really caused any negativity or positivity on my part but at least it gets me through the couple of hours when i stare at the laptop screen.sitting beside me, a group of old ladies discuss the merits of CPF and the favourite topic of Singaporeans, housing costs in such and such area. in front of me, a bunch of school kids complained about their mobile phones not being the latest model. and to my left there was this junior college couple having a date but under the pretext of revising their A Levels Math. meanwhile they were probably wondering who this bald mofo is?thank god Bruce, Steve, Adrian, Janick, Dave and Nicko were screaming into my ears…Album of the Day: Matter of Life and DeathFinger Acrobatics Performed by Avloomat @ 1921Hrs
