Painkillers, Antibiotics and Chinese National Day

here i am 24 hours later. sittin in my living room, feet up, sipping some water, numbed from the pain killers and hopefully rejuvenated by the antibiotics.

4th October. that is my date with Dr Wong. the professional who is going to yank me tooth out of my gums.

my visit last night was a good one, to say the least.

firstly, it was because it was the first of many years. and because it was the first of many years, the dentist had a ball sanitising them on top of jabbing stuffs into my gums.

speaking of which, if anyone were searching for the definition of pain, that would be it. (Ok, maybe Daniel Craig’s 007 favourite torture would come a close second…)

i can withstand much pain. i can hide most of the time. but sometimes, you body would not be able to disguise that fact. i knew i reached my treshold when my lips quivered as if it was fearing for its life.

ouch…

secondly, Dr Jackie was nice and professional especially considering the fact that many people have had bad experiences with Chinese doctors. this place is supposed to be swarmed with Singaporean doctors. perhaps their professionalism had rubbed on her.

in my humble experience, not once has there been a Singaporean doctor who has made me feel less than satisfied.

why cant Singaporean administrators be that way?

more excitin matters on the way tomorrow. its the Parent Teacher Conference! and then a week Chinese National Pride!!!
